The Sergeant Major textile design was inspired by artist Francoise Lane’s expedition to the Great Barrier Reef with her son. “One of the stand outs were schools of sergeant majors with their bold black and white stripes and yellow and black stripes. I was told the great news of becoming a grandmother on the adventure! This print was created to capture the special memory and is dedicated to my son Jordan.” Francoise designed the hand painted earring to capture one of the striped elements from the textile design.
